Nairobi
Kenya’s Teachers Service Commission has launched an ambitious drive to recruit 24,000 teacher interns for junior secondary schools across the country. The scheme begins in August and runs through the academic year 2025/26, offering hands-on experience under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
The TSC has set a tight timeline. The online application portal opens 26 August and closes sharply at midnight on 9 September.
The internships aim to bridge theory and practice. Recruits will be paired with seasoned teachers in real classrooms, where they’ll hone their instructional skills with on-the-job mentorship
