James Opiyo Wandayi - Energy and Petroleum
Wandayi, the Leader of the Minority Party in the National Assembly, has been nominated for Energy and Petroleum. He has a strong background in business and has served as Chair of the Public Accounts Committee.
Stella Soi Langat - Gender and Culture
Langat, the current director of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, has been nominated for Gender and Culture. She holds a Bachelor's degree in political science and a Master's degree in public administration.
Ali Hassan Joho - Mining
Joho, a former Mombasa Governor, brings a wealth of experience as a politician and businessman to the Ministry of Mining.
Wycliffe Oparanya - Cooperatives and MSMEs Development
Oparanya, the former Governor of Kakamega County, is a certified public accountant and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He has served as Chairman of the Council of Governors (COG) and was part of the Covid-19 task force advising President Uhuru Kenyatta.
