President William Ruto has announced 11 members of his new Cabinet, introducing a mix of new faces and trusted allies in a bid to reinforce his government’s agenda.
The announcement, made on Friday, July 19, follows extensive consultations with political allies and opposition figures, reflecting a strategic balance aimed at stabilizing the administration while injecting fresh energy into critical sectors.
Among the notable retentions is Kithure Kindiki, who continues to helm the Interior Ministry, a crucial role given the nation's current security challenges. Alice Wahome remains at the Lands Ministry, Aden Duale continues to oversee Defence, and Soipan Tuya retains her position as Environment CS. Former Energy CS Davis Chirchir has been reassigned to Roads and Transport, and Rebecca Miano, previously Trade CS, steps into the role of Attorney General, replacing Justin Muturi.

Her professional journey includes roles as an Internal Medicine Consultant and Infectious Diseases Specialist at prestigious institutions like the Mater Hospital and the World Health Organization.
Dr. Margaret Nyambura Ndung'u - Ministry of ICT

Eric Muriithi Mugaa - Ministry of Water
