Renowned Kenyan musician Daddy Owen has revealed why he has decided to end his campaign to find a 'Kienyeji' village girl to marry. In a telephone interview , Owen expressed that despite his efforts and the time he dedicated to the search, he was unsuccessful in finding a suitable candidate.

Owen cited his busy schedule and numerous commitments as the main reasons behind his decision to halt the search. The artist acknowledged that the workload has become overwhelming, leaving him with little time and energy to continue his pursuit of a village beauty to be his life partner.

Seven months ago, the 'Mbona' singer announced his quest for a local girl who could fill the void left by his divorced wife. He outlined specific characteristics and criteria, with the primary requirement being that she come from a rural background. Several women, including YouTube blogger Pritty Vishy, expressed their interest in becoming his wife. However, Owen explained that none of the candidates met all the criteria he was looking for.

Currently, the artist is involved with a center called CARE, which caters to children with disabilities in Kijabe. The center has been completed and is already serving the children. It features an extensive facility with rooms where the children, along with their parents or guardians, can reside.

Daddy Owen's decision to discontinue his search for a 'Kienyeji' wife reflects the challenges he has faced in finding the right match while managing his busy schedule. His focus has shifted towards his philanthropic endeavors, particularly his involvement with the CARE center, where he aims to make a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities.
