DJ Fatxo has vehemently denied any romantic involvement with politician Sabina Wanjiru Chege, putting an end to the swirling rumors suggesting that she had been financing his extravagant lifestyle.
During an interview with Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi, Fatxo addressed the speculations head-on, stating, "I am aware of the rumors circulating that Sabina Chege funds me. When I purchased my Mercedes, people immediately assumed it was a gift from her. However, the truth is that I have not yet finished paying off the car. The car company did not pressure me for payment; we have actually come to an agreement on a repayment plan."
Fatxo further clarified that, although he may not be wealthy, he has never experienced hunger since the incident. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I may not have a lot of money right now, especially after not working for three months. However, I have always been provided with food to eat, thanks to God's grace. This is why people may assume I have a wealthy benefactor."
The DJ also revealed that he believes some individuals are deliberately trying to sabotage his career now that it is gaining traction. He commented, "This is not the first time I have faced opposition. This is not an ordinary fight. When I first entered the industry and gained popularity, there were rumors that I did not write my own songs. Now, someone is spreading falsehoods, claiming I am gay and that my car was a gift from a businessman in Mwea. Those who wish to tarnish my reputation should continue with their lies, but people are not easily fooled. I remain steadfast in my spirituality."
DJ Fatxo's candid statements aim to clear the air and put an end to the unfounded rumors surrounding his relationship with Sabina Chege, emphasizing his dedication to his career and personal integrity.
