A heartbreaking account emerges as a friend narrates the final moments of a Kenyan widow who tragically passed away in Canada just days after her arrival.

The friend disclosed that the late Wambui initially planned to travel on February 9 but encountered obstacles at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where she was denied boarding through Europe without explanation. After two failed attempts, she finally succeeded on the third try.

Upon her arrival in Canada, Wambui stayed briefly at her friend's house before heading to a shelter as required. Despite the initial challenges, it seemed like Wambui was on track to start anew in her adopted country.

However, her stay at the shelter took a tragic turn when she was asked to wait outside for hours alongside two others due to limited space. Despite the setback, Wambui remained determined to persevere.

Throughout her time at the shelter, Wambui kept in touch with her friend and her children, displaying hope for a brighter future. In their last conversation, the friend advised Wambui to request a place to freshen up at the shelter.
