The fatal accident occurred on the Tonkin Highway in Gosnells when the vehicle they were traveling in veered off the road and collided with a tree, subsequently catching fire.

A distressing video circulating online captured the horrifying moment as the vehicle erupted in flames after the collision. First responders in the area recorded the video while attempting to rescue the two victims. Despite their efforts, the inferno presented a formidable challenge to rescue operations, as confirmed by local authorities.

The two students, identified as hailing from Nandi County, tragically lost their lives. Social media posts from mourning Kenyans revealed that one of the students had recently begun schooling in Australia last year.

This unfortunate event follows a recent incident in Rockland, Massachusetts, where a Kenyan man lost his life in a speeding-related accident on Sunday, January 11. The man reportedly veered off the road, collided with an unoccupied pickup, and ultimately crashed into a tree, sustaining serious injuries.
