In a heart-wrenching incident in New York City, a cancer doctor identified as Krystal Cascetta took the lives of her four-month-old daughter before turning the gun on herself. Cascetta, who specialized in treating bone, breast, gastrointestinal cancers, and blood disorders, reportedly locked the door before carrying out the tragic act in her home located in Somers, New York.

According to reports from online site The Messenger News, Krystal Cascetta's parents were present in the house at the time of the incident. They became aware of the tragedy when they heard gunshots and subsequently broke down the door to reach the locked room. Inside, they found Cascetta and her baby daughter lifeless.

The police were alerted to the horrific event after receiving a 911 call from one of the inhabitants of the house. However, the caller realized the gravity of the situation upon hearing the second gunshot and immediately rushed to the room, only to discover the devastating scene.
