Stephanie Kiuna, the daughter of Kathy and the late Bishop Allan Kiuna, has shared emotional details about missing her father’s funeral and her struggles during the difficult time. Speaking on her YouTube channel, the Australia-based mother of two explained the heartbreaking circumstances that prevented her from attending.

“There’s nowhere on God’s green earth I would have rather been than at my dad’s funeral,” Stephanie said. “We were so close, and it’s still hard to talk about. But due to issues related to my Australian visa, it was impossible for me to travel. We did everything we could, but it just didn’t work.”

Bishop Allan Kiuna passed away on July 9, 2024, in Nairobi after battling Multiple Myeloma. He was laid to rest in Thindigua, Kiambu County. Stephanie recounted the pain of being absent, emphasizing that their relationship transcended her inability to attend the ceremony.

“The last time I saw him was during Christmas,” she shared. “The holidays will always carry that weight for me because of those final moments we spent together. He always pushed me to do more, including starting my YouTube channel. He believed I wasn’t meant to stay behind the scenes.”

During the session, Stephanie also responded to personal questions from fans, reflecting on her life in Australia with her husband Ethan, their journey as parents, and her admiration for her mother, Kathy Kiuna.

While addressing her marriage plans, Stephanie revealed her intention to have a ceremony back home in Kenya. “I’ll only get married once, so I want it to be exactly the way I want,” she said.

Despite the grief of losing her father, Stephanie expressed gratitude for the memories they shared and the legacy he left behind, which continues to inspire her.
