Thirdway Alliance party leader, Ekuru Aukot, has come forward with serious allegations against the leaders of both Kenya Kwanza and Azimio la Umoja coalitions, asserting that they are equally deceiving the Kenyan public. Speaking during an interview on K24 TV, Aukot criticized the leaders of both political entities, labeling their conversations and promises as nothing but lies.

Aukot pointed out that before attaining power, Kenya Kwanza leaders had made grand promises to the Kenyan people, outlining a detailed plan and providing timelines for various reforms and initiatives. However, Aukot emphasized that these promises have not materialized, and the high cost of living persists, contrary to President William Ruto's campaign pledge to lower it once in office.

He further recalled Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga stating that the high cost of living was a common occurrence, implying that it should not be a surprise to the citizens. Interestingly, Aukot highlighted that it is now the Azimio leaders who are using the high cost of living as a reason to call for the Kenya Kwanza government's surrender of power.

Aukot expressed frustration with the repeated discussions surrounding the cost of living, pointing out that it is essential for the conversation to transcend specific leaderships. He emphasized the need to address the core issues and take concrete steps to tackle the persistent problem of the high cost of living in Kenya.

As political dynamics continue to unfold in the country, Ekuru Aukot's statements shed light on the public's increasing concern over unfulfilled promises and the need for genuine action from the nation's leaders to alleviate the burden of the cost of living on the Kenyan population.
