Without proving any evidence, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said the police we acting on the Inspect General of Police George Kinoti.
“Because there is God, people had posted online that Itumbi had been kidnapped and was going to be killed, which made the plotters scared,” said Gachagua.
“Inspector General, George Kinoti called those police officers involved to find out if they had executed Itumbi but they said not yet. He ordered them to abort mission, and instead abandon him somewhere” revealed Gachagua.
Itumbi was found in Kasarani by bodaboda riders who took him to the hospital with injuries.
Gachagua continued to say that despite the fact that the Bishop had told people to forgive one another, some things are too hard to forgive.
