Winnie Odinga has said no human is worthy of judging her.
In a statement on Wednesday, Winnie defended herself against accusations that she sabotaged the Azimio la Umoja team during the August 9 general elections.
"Only God knows my heart, only he will judge me," Winnie said.
While quoting Scottish writer Charles Mackay, she pointed out that having made enemies in her line of work was indicative of her achievements.
"He who has mingled in the fray of duty that the brave endure, must have made foes. If you have none, small is the work that you have done. You’ve never turned the wrong to right. You’ve been a coward in the fight," she said.
Earlier in the day, Azimio spokesperson Makau Mutua said Winnie is a young politician and should be mentored and not tramped over.
"Those who’ve been attacking Winnie Odinga should cease and desist. She’s a young woman in politics. A man in her shoes wouldn’t be so pilloried. Winnie got talent, but advice and mentorship will be key. Let’s support our young (people)," he said.
Winnie activated her Twitter account on Sunday, October 16 after a month off the social media app.
She took the action after a heated argument with lawyer Donald Kipkorir over the outcome of the elections.
Her father Raila Odinga lost the polls to President William Ruto in what critics said was partly contributed to by poor planning of his campaign secretariat.
Kipkorir had claimed Winnie was part of the Azimio team that sabotaged her father's win.
"Since 2005, I supported freely every political journey of Raila Odinga. Today, Kenya begins a new chapter under President William Ruto. Those that let down Baba like Winnie Odinga and others at Azimio Secretariat now want to troll me. The trolling is misplaced and ill-advised," he said in a tweet.
In response, Winnie told the lawyer to "shut up for once", but later claimed that her account was hacked and later, she deactivated it.
"Twitter hacked. Got it back. Everyone can take it easy now,” she said.
In her Wednesday's tweet, Winnie posted a lineup of the teams that worked with the Azimio candidates during the campaign and election period.
