Comedian Mannerson Oduor Ochieng, famously known as Akuku Danger, bravely shares his recent struggle with Sickle Cell disease, describing it as an intense ordeal that required divine intervention for recovery.
Akuku Danger's journey with this disease has been transparent, with past episodes landing him in the hospital and prompting appeals for assistance from well-wishers.
Actress Sandra Dacha, a close friend of his, has been a consistent source of support, assisting him in raising funds for his medical expenses.
Recently, Akuku disclosed that he was once again hospitalized due to another bout of the illness, labeling Sickle Cell as a formidable adversary.
"In these past few weeks, God has truly been my savior. Sickle Cell is a relentless adversary. One moment you're going about your daily activities, hustling hard to secure your livelihood, and the next moment you're battling for survival in a hospital bed," Akuku expressed.
Sharing a video from his hospital bed, Akuku stated his intention to raise awareness about the disease and offer encouragement to fellow warriors fighting the same battle.
"I'm sharing this not seeking sympathy, but to inspire all the Sickle Cell warriors out there. Remember, you are far stronger than you realize," Akuku affirmed, offering words of encouragement to others facing similar challenges.
