Bongo music sensation Zuhura Othman, popularly known as Zuchu, has broken her silence regarding her separation from Diamond Platnumz, shedding light on the reasons behind their parting.

Despite their apparent musical chemistry, Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz have long been rumored to be romantically involved, but recent events have brought their relationship into question.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the daughter of Taarab queen Khadija Kopa revealed that her decision to end the relationship stemmed from Diamond's penchant for controversy, which often made her a target of public scrutiny and disrespect.

Zuchu expressed frustration at being pushed into situations where her dignity was compromised, particularly through Diamond's actions and the subsequent public perception.

"While fame and attention are expected in our line of work, I cannot tolerate being manipulated and subjected to false praise merely to elevate someone else, especially in local media where truth is readily available," Zuchu voiced her grievances on Instagram.

She elaborated, "The primary reason for my departure is the exhaustion of being associated with a man who consistently undermines my dignity and invites public ridicule upon me."

Zuchu urged for transparency and respect in her interactions, emphasizing her desire for peace and autonomy.

Addressing the prevalent blame directed towards her in matters involving Diamond's life, including his past relationships and co-parenting dynamics, Zuchu lamented the unfair scapegoating she faced.

"Whenever conflicts arise in Diamond's life, I'm unfairly targeted as the source of discord. His exes harbor resentment, projecting their grievances onto me. Even unknown figures from his past are weaponized against me," she stated.

Zuchu's revelations come amid reports of her separation from Diamond Platnumz, fueled by rumors of discomfort following Diamond's public interaction with his ex-partner, Sarah, during a recent music festival in Tanzania.
