Social media has been buzzing with rumors that Amber Ray and her baby daddy, Kennedy Rapudo, were evicted from their luxurious Kilimani duplex apartment due to unpaid rent. The alleged pending rent arrears amounted to a substantial Sh270,000.
However, the renowned socialite and mother of two, Amber Ray, took to social media to dispel the speculations and defend Rapudo. She clarified that their separation was not due to financial difficulties but stemmed from personal differences. Addressing the rumors, she stated, "The rent was never an issue. I moved out mid-month, and Ken did a while after. It wouldn’t make sense for him to live in a 5-bedroom house alone."
Amber Ray emphasized that the circulating rumors were falsehoods created for entertainment purposes. She asserted that she does not engage in clout chasing, especially when it comes to personal matters. Additionally, she clarified that neither she nor Rapudo had ever been evicted from an apartment due to rent arrears, as they have always been capable of paying for their residences.
The entrepreneur further explained that their current combined rent for separate apartments exceeds the rent they used to pay for the allegedly troubled duplex. Contrary to reports, she affirmed, "So we never had arrears, and we were not kicked out."
Amber Ray and Rapudo, who had previously separated following allegations of physical assault, have recently reconciled. The couple has been making efforts to rebuild their relationship, with Rapudo publicly apologizing to Amber Ray. Reports of their reunion gained traction after they were seen celebrating Amber Ray's birthday together in an intimate gathering with close friends. Rapudo shared a video on Instagram of the celebration, expressing his heartfelt wishes for Amber Ray's birthday.
In response to Rapudo's post, Amber Ray thanked him and referred to him as "Baba @africanahrapudo," indicating a renewed connection between the two.
