Kenyan singer Akothee has taken to Instagram to address a brewing issue in her personal life. In a fiery Instagram Live session on Tuesday, August 1, the mother of five called out women who have been showing an inappropriate interest in her husband, Schweizer Omosh, on social media.

Expressing her frustration, Akothee read out messages that some women had sent to her husband's DM, stating that she was well aware of their actions. She dismissed any claims of a breakup, clarifying that a recent poster she shared was for her new song, "Niko Singo," and not related to her relationship status.

Akothee voiced her dismay at people who seemed to take pleasure in her perceived misfortunes, particularly concerning matters of love. She urged them to stop wishing her ill and acknowledged the challenges of being a public figure.

The singer also addressed the topic of her second wedding, which she had previously announced would take place in July 2023. However, due to attempts at sabotage, she decided to keep her plans private and no longer share them with her fans.

Akothee made it clear that her husband, Dennis "Omosh" Schweizer, is not a celebrity, and she prefers to keep their private life out of the public eye. She defended her decision to not post pictures of him on social media and explained that he is busy working.

The singer further revealed that despite being happily married, some fans continue to send her direct messages, to which she reminded them of her marital status.

Addressing her appearance at an event with her ex-lover, Nelly Oaks, Akothee asserted that they share a familial bond, and her husband has no issue with their relationship. She emphasized that her presence with Nelly Oaks did not imply she was single.

In conclusion, Akothee played her latest song for her fans and ended the live session with a strong message to those meddling in her personal life, referring to them as "wachawi" (evil people).
