Popular actor Dan Sonko surprised his fans by taking to Facebook on Thursday, 6th July, to announce the end of his romantic relationship with actress Winnie Bwire.

In a heartfelt post addressed directly to his followers, the father of two clarified the situation and shed light on their decision to transition into a friendship centered on their business endeavors.

Acknowledging the pressure from fans, Sonko wrote, "Ok... I give in to the pressure." He confirmed that he and Bwire were no longer romantically involved but maintained a strong friendship, particularly in the context of their business ventures. He emphasized his deep respect for Bwire, describing her as a "Queen in her own right."

While Sonko expressed his caring for Bwire, he made it clear that their decision to part ways was mutual and reached amicably. He also pointed out that since they were not married, their separation should not be misconstrued as a divorce.
