Citizen TV presenter Trevor Ombija has confirmed that he is indeed a father and revealed that he left the dating scene a long time ago. In a telephone interview with Ankali Ray, Ombija addressed rumors surrounding his personal life, clarifying the truth behind his relationship status and fatherhood.

Ombija acknowledged that he does have a child and explained that there was a time when he was single and actively seeking a partner. However, he emphasized that those days are now behind him. "It is true that I have a child. You know, in the past, I didn't know what qualities women wanted in a man. They preferred someone who was single. I noticed they were talking a lot, but when you're on TV, people tend to think they have the freedom to say anything," Ombija shared.

The reporter clarified that when he mentioned being single, it was two years ago, and since then, he has been off the dating market. He expressed surprise that people are coming forward now, considering that he has been unavailable for a long time. "When I said I was single, that was two years ago. They didn't send their applications then. How many years should a person be single?" he humorously questioned.

Ombija proudly revealed that his child is a boy and shared his son's name. He expressed that he does not have plans for another child at the moment and is fully focused on raising his son. "He is a boy, and I named him Trevor Ombija Jr. He is my love, but marriage will come later. I am no longer in the dating market; it's a dirty market. I'm not in the market now; my job is to raise a respectful and knowledgeable young man through prayers," Ombija emphasized.

When discussing his partner, Ombija disclosed that she is not a public figure and prefers to stay away from social media. He explained that this is the reason he has not posted about her, recalling an incident when he posted a photo of their son's hand, and she expressed her disapproval. "My partner is not a public figure at all. She dislikes social media, which is why you haven't seen me post about her. She was upset even when I posted our son's hand," he revealed.

The well-known journalist expressed his contentment with having one child and stated that he is not considering having another. "Let me tell you, I won't pass through that path again. One child is enough for me, Trevor Ombija Jr. That's it, end of story," Ombija concluded, affirming his decision to focus on raising his son and embracing fatherhood.
