Samidoh's wife, Edday Nderitu, has expressed serious concerns about their long-standing marriage after she decided to unfollow the Mugithi singer on Instagram.

The exact timing of when Edday took this step remains unclear, but our investigation of her Instagram page, which boasts over ninety thousand followers, confirms that Samidoh is no longer among the 524 accounts she follows on the platform.

This recent move comes shortly after Edday traveled to the United States with their three children. It is currently unknown whether she has returned to Kenya or if she has any plans to do so.

This is not the first time Edday Nderitu has raised concerns about her relationship with the Mugithi musician.

Approximately two months ago, rumors about a potential breakup of their fifteen-year marriage were sparked when Edday participated in a TikTok challenge featuring Harmonize's song "Single Again." She posted a short video showing herself alone on the couch, singing along to Konde Boy's new song.

In the video, she appeared carefree and happy as she sang the lyrics, "Maybe this love is not for me, I am single, Do you know that I am single? I am single again." Some fans interpreted the message as an announcement that she and Samidoh were no longer together.

However, the couple was later seen together on multiple occasions, until earlier this month when Edday left the country.

In February, Edday wrote a lengthy message on her social media platforms addressing Samidoh, warning him that she was not willing to raise their children in a polygamous marriage.

This was in response to Samidoh being seen with his co-parent, Karen Nyamu, despite previous claims that their relationship had ended.

Edday criticized Ms. Nyamu, describing her as morally questionable and disrespectful towards their family. She highlighted that the past three years of their marriage had been filled with pain and humiliation.

Nevertheless, Edday expressed her loyalty and continued support for Samidoh's music career.

"Despite being despised, humiliated, and insulted on social media, I have remained loyal to you. You have made me look foolish and taken advantage of my silence. I have supported your talent and stood by you in everything. But I want to make it clear once again, I will not raise my children in a polygamous family," she expressed her bitterness.

She emphasized that their marriage had been good in the early days before the intrusion of a third party.
