There was a heavy traffic snarl-up along Thika Road after three vehicles were involved in a road accident on Thursday afternoon, July 15, 2021.

The accident occurred at the Githurai flyover on the lane heading to Thika.

The vehicles involved in the accident include a lorry, a personal car, and a probox belonging to the security and logistics company Group Four Service(G4S).

The lorry rammed into the personal vehicle from behind which then hit the G4S  probox, pictured overturned on the road.

The personal car has been wrecked from the tail end to the rear passenger seats.

Reports indicate that several people believed to be victims of the accident have been rushed to hospital.
