Protests in Nairobi's central business district have intensified as police and demonstrators engage in running battles.
The protesters have taken to the streets to demonstrate against the Finance Bill 2024, barricading roads with stones across the town.
Police have arrested several protesters, while others have sustained serious injuries. Teargas was fired at the crowds to disperse them.
Journalists and police officers were seen removing stones after protesters blocked the roads.
