Gen Z Reacts with "Anguka Nayo" After Ruto Fires Entire Cabinet

President William Ruto has dissolved his Cabinet, sending home all Cabinet Secretaries and the Attorney General.

The decision does not affect Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

"I have decided to dismiss with immediate effect all Cabinet Secretaries and the Attorney General of Kenya except the Prime Cabinet Secretary and the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs," Ruto announced. "And, of course, the office of the Deputy President is not affected in any way."

Gen Zs, who were proactive in the anti-government protests, took to social media to express their sentiments over the cabinet dissolution.

One Gen Z user on the X platform found solace in the trending online song "Anguka Nayo" (Drop with it) to react to the cabinet dissolution.

User Koinange declared, "I declare today anguka nayo of Gen Zs is going home with all the Cabinet."

"Anguka Nayo" by Wadagliz Ke has been trending online for the past few days, becoming the go-to song for Gen Zs in their anti-government protests. The viral song has garnered more than 600,000 views on YouTube and TikTok, inspiring countless memes and skits.

Another X user, Hanifa, said, "Feeling jobless with Murkomen and 99 others."

Mbiti Mwondo reacted by saying, "Bora Nakhumicha ameenda home naeza lewa kidogo!"

Dray added, "Ababu is now jobless, akuje tuonee Olympics kwa TV."

Eddy Nyadwa commented, "Fired all CS and AG, which are constitutional offices, BUT RETAINED the unconstitutional office of Prime Cabinet Secretary.. BUT WHY?"

Another user, Author Sakwa, said, "He fired everyone and left Mudavadi, the guy holding an unconstitutional office and whose office has been used to scam people."

President William Ruto stated that the affairs of the ministries would henceforth be coordinated by Principal Secretaries until a new Cabinet is appointed.
