The Princess of Wales was recently seen looking 'happy, healthy, and relaxed' during a visit to a local farm shop over the weekend, marking her first public appearance since undergoing planned abdominal surgery.
Kate and William were reportedly spotted at one of their favourite spots, just around a mile from their Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, on Saturday. They had been watching their three children - George, aged 10, Charlotte, aged eight, and Louis, aged five - participate in sports.
The sighting at The Windsor Farm Shop is sure to uplift the British public, who have expressed concerns about the Princess' health amidst widespread speculation about her condition.
A witness who encountered the couple shared with The Sun: 'After all the rumours that had been circulating, I was surprised to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William, and she appeared happy and in good health.'
Although the children were not present, Kate's outing is seen as a positive indication of her improving health.
While no photographs were taken of the couple - in respect of their privacy during Kate's recovery - their reported appearance is a promising sign that she may soon resume her official royal engagements.
The Princess, who made her last public appearance at Sandringham on Christmas Day, is expected to resume her public duties after April 17th, coinciding with her children's return to Lambrook School near Ascot following the Easter Holidays.
There is speculation, however, that Kate might make an earlier return and could even be seen attending the annual Easter Matins service at St George's Chapel on the Windsor estate.
