This significant announcement follows closely on the heels of another Kenyan's appointment to the UN, further solidifying Kenya’s global presence.
Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba was recently designated as a member of the United Nations (UN) Global Leadership Council of Generation Unlimited (GenU) by President William Ruto.
In his newfound role, Namwamba will advocate for the Kenyan youth agenda on a global scale.
Governor Nyong’o's appointment underscores Kenya’s enduring involvement in international affairs and the recognition of its leaders on the global stage.
His wealth of experience and unswerving commitment to public service place him in an excellent position to make substantial contributions to the UN’s initiatives addressing global challenges and promoting sustainable development.
