Comedian Eunice Wanjiru Njoki, popularly known as Mammito, is excitedly preparing for her upcoming stand-up comedy special, Maandamano Baby, which promises a night filled with humor and personal stories. The heavily pregnant comedian says the show will explore her life as a Kenyan woman and her pregnancy journey.

The idea for Maandamano Baby, she shared, was sparked in July, around the time of the Gen Z protests against Kenya's 2024 Finance Bill. “While I joined fellow Kenyans in rejecting the finance bill, I was also busy making a future little fighter,” Mammito joked.

She teased fans, saying, “I’m taking you through my life recently, sharing my pregnancy journey in a one-hour stand-up special. There may be bathroom breaks, so it might stretch to an hour and a half. I’d love to see you there— it’s not a solo show, it’s two in one, me and mini me!”

Fans have been eagerly speculating about who the father of Mammito’s child might be, as she hasn’t publicly disclosed her relationship status since her high-profile breakup with fellow comedian Eddie Butita in 2022.

This new special follows Mammito’s other successful shows, including Mammito & Friends and Mammito and Girlfriends, where her relatable humor and bold storytelling have resonated deeply with audiences. Maandamano Baby is set to be another memorable event, featuring her unique blend of wit and charm.

The show is scheduled for December 20, 2024, at the C.U. Shah Jain Bhavan Auditorium in Loresho, Nairobi. Mammito has also partnered with Chumz, a savings and investment app, for this event, encouraging fans to set small savings goals in line with the evening’s theme.

As the event approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting both her insights on motherhood and her take on life’s latest turns.
