The English language skills of musician Naseeb Abdul Juma, also known as Diamond Platinumz, in the second season of the reality series "Young, Famous, and African" have sparked mixed reactions among his fans.

In a video clip from the series shared on Instagram, some fans made fun of his spoken English, while others congratulated him for making an effort to speak English.

Here are some of the comments:

"Emanueldunia wrote, 'To jump into my family because that's a frog until it jumps?? Poor in English,' with laughing emojis."

"Salumviatu wrote, 'The language is the same, the pronunciation is different. The English spoken by white people is different from what is spoken in other countries like Nigeria or India. The problem is not that he doesn't know English, but his pronunciation. If he speaks Kiswahili, it's fine.'"

"Pinah_65 wrote, 'In this series, let him speak Kiswahili. He's struggling a lot, and even sober people have a hard time understanding him,' with laughing emojis."

"Ajboy_boy wrote, 'The problem is Simba (referring to Diamond Platinumz) is forcing him to speak in an American accent, but he's okay. It's very cruel.'"

"Roseamor suggested, 'Guys, why not speak Kiswahili and have an interpreter to avoid complications?'"

Regardless of the opinions, it's worth acknowledging that Diamond Platinumz has come a long way since rising to stardom in East Africa. His English has improved, and even though he may struggle with pronunciation, he is actively practicing and learning the language, which is commendable.
