COVID-19 Fears, Kiss 100 FM Shuts Down Broadcasting Studio In Nairobi

Popular Radio station Kiss 100 Fm has shut down its office operations due to COVID 19 Fears. The newly employed veteran comedian Felix Oduor alias Jang’o announced on Wednesday Morning.

“Good Morning! So yesterday we took the COVID- 19 Test! We will be working from home to allow the office to be cleaned and also our results will be out later today. Catch the latest hits from 6 in the morning we will keep you company through the links,” He posted on his Facebook page.

Its presenters have been ordered to work from home to allow for cleaning and fumigation. This comes barely a day after the comedian alongside other Radio Africa Team were tested. Their results are not yet out.

Jalang’o is among the mourners who attended Papa Shirandulas burial on Monday in Busia County. The popular Shirandula collapsed and died at Karen Hospital on 18th July 2020 where he had gone to seek treatment days after testing Positive of Corona Virus.

As of Yesterday, Kenya had hit a total of 14,168 confirmed Positive cases after 397 more tested Positive. As it stands, 642 patients have fully recovered with 587 under home-based care program.
