For the first time in history, the food delivery app, Uber Eats has joined hands with local suppliers in Toronto, Canada, to deliver Marijuana to locals starting on Monday.
Leafly, which is a start-up, is the official partner for the delivery.
The store is an online-based marijuana marketplace. It is located in Seattle which is about 160 km south of the Canadian border.
They say the partnership will help combat the illegal underground market which they say makes up more than 50 per cent of non-medical marijuana sales.
Delivery is limited to adults aged 19 years and above.
