The Premier League cannot get any better than having league leaders Chelsea welcome defending champions, Manchester City, at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, September 25.
What a way to start week six of the English Premier League (EPL) with an enticing match between last season’s two UEFA Champions League finalists. Chelsea beat Man City 1-0 to win the coveted European trophy in May 2021.
Chelsea has Won 4, Drawn 1 and Lost none of their games this season, and have put up a spirited campaign with superb performances against other top contenders beating Arsenal 2-0, Tottenham 3-0 and drawing 1-1 with Liverpool.
Manchester City on the other hand is out to stamp their authority in the league. They have Won 3, Drawn 1 and Lost 1. The only big six The Citizens have faced so far is Tottenham, to whom they lost 1-0.
Chelsea sits 1st on the log with 13 points while City is 5th with 10 points.
