The Archdiocese of Nairobi has debunked rumours circulating online about the death of Cardinal John Njue, stating that the reports are baseless. In a statement released on Friday, Reverend Wallace Ng'ang'a, Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi, confirmed that the Cardinal is alive and called on Kenyans to disregard the false claims.
The reverend also urged the public to verify information before sharing it, especially on sensitive topics. "We ask all to refrain from spreading unverified news. Any official communication on His Eminence's health will come through official Church channels," the statement emphasized.
The Church encouraged continued prayers for Cardinal Njue's health and well-being.
