The family of Samuel Muturi Wanjiru, a dedicated US Marine, faces anguish as their loved one goes missing following a vacation with his girlfriend in Puerto Rico.

In an emotional plea to KDTV on April 14, Muturi's mother disclosed that her son has been unaccounted for since March 27, despite relentless search efforts.

According to Muturi's mother, he embarked on a vacation to Puerto Rico with his girlfriend to celebrate his birthday. While initially reassured by her son's updates on their whereabouts, concern grew when he failed to return.

Muturi's mother recounted the last contact with her son, detailing his enjoyment of swimming at the ocean's edge. Tragically, a sudden strong wave reportedly swept him away, leaving no trace of his whereabouts.

Expressing frustration at the lack of assistance, Muturi's mother lamented the absence of support from the US military, despite her son's dedicated service as a respected Marine.

Describing Muturi as a courageous warrior lauded by his superiors, she implored for both financial aid and prayers from compassionate individuals, as the family continues their desperate search for answers.
