Kenya’s national football team has captured more than just points at CHAN 2024—they’ve racked up a catalogue of promises. With each victory, fellow Kenyans have thrown out pledges of cash, housing, even home appliances. Here’s a breakdown of what the Harambee Stars have been promised so far.

    KSh 1 million per player for every win
    KSh 500,000 per player for a draw
    Team bonuses:

    • KSh 60 million for reaching quarter-finals
