Kenya has secured its spot among the top destinations for tourists seeking tantalizing street food experiences, according to a new ranking by Travel Noire, a renowned travel magazine.

The magazine, known for its comprehensive coverage of global travel trends, listed Kenya among the top 10 countries worldwide for tourists to explore, alongside South Africa, Morocco, Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Seychelles, and Zambia.

Kenya's inclusion was attributed to its diverse culinary landscape, with street food delicacies such as mandazi (fried dough) and chapati (flatbread) captivating the taste buds of visitors.

The optimal months for tourists to visit Kenya were highlighted as June to October, offering the spectacle of the Great Migration in the Masai Mara National Reserve, and December to February for delightful coastal weather.

Tourists flock to Kenya not only for its culinary delights but also for its breathtaking natural attractions and immersive cultural experiences. From witnessing the awe-inspiring Great Migration to exploring traditional Maasai villages and relaxing on the pristine beaches of Mombasa and Diani Beach, Kenya offers a myriad of unforgettable experiences.

Luxurious tented camps in the Masai Mara provide visitors with immersive safari experiences, while beachfront resorts cater to those seeking relaxation. Budget-friendly lodges and guesthouses are also available, ensuring that Kenya caters to a diverse range of travelers.

In comparison, South Africa's appeal lies in its dry weather from May to September and whale-watching opportunities from June to December, accompanied by delectable Cape Malay cuisine and renowned South African wines.

Morocco, known for its pleasant weather between March to May and September to November, offers tourists a culinary journey through traditional Moroccan dishes like tagine and couscous, amidst the enchanting ambiance of riads.

According to John Chirchir, CEO of the Kenya Tourism Board, the country anticipates a surge in tourist arrivals, aiming to create more employment opportunities for Kenyans. With Bollywood collaborations and efforts to attract more Indian tourists, Kenya's tourism sector is poised for significant growth and increased engagement with global markets.

Last year witnessed Kenyan tour operators actively promoting tourism on Chinese social media platforms, signaling the country's commitment to expanding its reach to diverse international audiences.
