A passenger bus owned by Guardian Bus Services company service has plunged into a river in Kisii.
Reports accessed by the media indicate that the tragedy occurred at river Nyambera in Kisii County Saturday morning.
It is not clear yet the exact number of people who were in the bus but preliminary reports indicates that it was full of passengers.
The rescue team and county disaster management officers have arrived at the scene.
The bus is said to have lost control leading to the accident.
