Nuru Okanga, a staunch supporter of the Azimio la Umoja political coalition, is setting his sights on Alliance High School after a notable performance in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results. His success is accompanied by significant support from Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.

In a media interview, Okanga, who remained discreet about his exam score, disclosed the generous financial support he received from Raila Odinga. While not specifying the amount, Okanga praised Raila for playing a crucial role in his political journey and aspirations. He revealed, "Raila has sent me a lot of money today. He told me to buy a cow and celebrate with my family."

Acknowledging Raila's impact on his brand in Kenya, Okanga conveyed messages from the public urging Raila to be more vocal in the political scene. Okanga warned that Kenyans might endure four more years for their actions in electing the current regime unless mass action is reinstated.

Expressing gratitude to Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Okanga disclosed plans to join Alliance High School, appreciating Babu Owino's sponsorship of his high school education. He stated, "I want to go to Alliance, and I've already gotten a sponsor. Let me just inform those in Alliance that I will be joining them. Expect great things, and I will talk to the teachers to grant me the right to be educating you people on matters politics."

Okanga also highlighted the influence of Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah in his decision to return to school. Wajackoyah advised him to pursue education and attain certificates for elective politics in the 2027 General Election. Okanga shared that Wajackoyah facilitated his enrollment in Mumias Muslim Primary School and funded his education.

Addressing rumors about his KCPE score trending online, Okanga clarified that the posted index number did not belong to him, and he had not accessed his results at the time.
