Zari Hassan, the South Africa-based Ugandan businesswoman and former partner of Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz, has extended an unexpected invitation to another of Diamond's exes, Tanasha Donna, for her upcoming all-white party event.
In a press conference held in Kampala, Zari explained her decision, emphasizing her desire to bring the family together for the sake of their shared children.
“We have the best interest for our children. We’re getting the family together, why not?” questioned Zari.
During the conference, Zari shed light on her decision to invite Tanasha Donna, stating, “She’s coming, she will be gracing the event because we speak. We always talk about our kids, like they are coming to Tanzania, they are meeting. I told her I am throwing an event, she said she is coming, it was as easy as that.”
Known for her open and charismatic personality, Zari added, “She’s coming and looking forward to the party just like any other person.”
Zari also mentioned that she would have invited Zuchu, but unfortunately, she had other commitments on the same day.
This unexpected gesture by Zari has led to speculation about a possible thawing of tensions and a genuine effort to create a harmonious environment for the sake of their shared children.
In a related development, Zari Hassan announced an exciting collaboration at the same all-white party event. She revealed a partnership with her frenemy, Ghanaian singer Fantana, promising an electrifying experience for fans.
“East Africa, are you ready? Things are about to get hectic. Guess who is coming to the #zariallwhiteparty on the 16th Dec 2023… yes, it’s none other than @iamfantana. It’s a shutdown!!” wrote Zari on her social media platforms.
This collaboration doesn't come as a surprise to fans of the Netflix reality show, “Young, Famous And African,” where both Zari Hassan and Fantana are cast members. The show provides an inside look into the lives of these African celebrities, showcasing their highs and lows, friendships, and occasional conflicts.
Meanwhile, Diamond Platnumz managed to bring together his family, including his kids and his two baby mamas, Tanasha and Zari, in October. The reunion took place during the Trace awards event in Kigali, Rwanda, marking a moment of reconciliation and unity among the family members.
