Suspect charged in Bungoma sugar repackaging case

The Bungoma Law Courts heard the case of Paul Mwangi, who was detained following an intelligence‑led raid that exposed a large‑scale sugar repackaging syndicate operating out of Bukembe Shopping Centre. He faces four charges, including possession of uncustomed and excisable goods, possession of counterfeit goods and the repackaging and production of counterfeit goods for trade.
