Azimio La Umoja coalition supporters from Eastlands have embarked on their journey towards the Central Business District CBD) where the people are assembling for the mega protests.
Hundreds of supporters gathered along Outering road as they prepared to head to the city centre.
Police officers were not in the area.
In CBD, a group of women demonstrators confronted police officers along City Hall in Nairobi shouting ‘tuko njaa’.
The handful of women sang and danced during the protest, chiding police who are manning the city streets to wade off protestors from accessing the CBD.
The women gathered adjacent to the county assembly.
“Tumesema bei ya unga lazima ishuke. Server ya IEBC lazima ifunguliwe,” the protesters said.
